Two Deputy Manager opportunities within established children’s homes across South Leicester and North Northamptonshire. These are stable, well-run services with a strong Ofsted track record, including several recent Outstanding inspections, reflecting consistent leadership and quality of care.
Introduction:
This is an opportunity to step into a leadership role where support, structure and sustainability are genuinely in place. You’ll be working alongside experienced Registered Managers and established teams, contributing to homes that prioritise positive outcomes for young people without placing the full weight of responsibility on one individual.
About the Role:
• Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home
• Lead shifts with a calm, consistent and organised approach
• Provide guidance, supervision and development to staff teams
• Contribute to care planning, safeguarding and quality assurance
• Ensure standards are maintained in line with Ofsted and regulatory expectations
• Work collaboratively with external professionals to support outcomes for young people
• Share responsibility for the home, with clear leadership support when needed

About You:
Experience & Qualifications:
• Level 3 or 4 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
• Experience within a residential childcare setting
• Previous experience supporting or supervising staff

• Able to lead and support others in a measured way
• Reflective in practice and open to learning
• Child-focused, with a genuine interest in positive outcomes
