Children’s Residential Care – Uttoxeter
Salary: £37,512–£40,287 (depending on experience)
Hours: Full‑time, 2 on / 4 off rota (includes sleeps)

About the Role:
As Deputy Manager, you’ll:
• Support the Registered Manager with daily leadership of the home
• Supervise staff and contribute to ongoing team development
• Help create and review care plans in partnership with young people
• Ensure safeguarding, incident reporting and compliance are well managed
• Contribute to audits, reviews, and regulatory readiness
• Promote positive routines, education and wellbeing for young people
• Lead by example during shifts and sleep-ins, with senior cover support

About You:
You’ll bring:
• A Level 3 or 4 qualification in Residential Childcare
• At least 2 years’ experience in children’s residential care
• Confidence leading shifts and supporting staff development
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and clear professional boundaries
• A calm, consistent leadership style
• A full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK
