Deputy Manager – Therapeutic 4-Bed Home in Nottingham (Maternity Cover)
Salary: Up to £37,154 + £80 per sleep-in
Contract: Fixed-term, Full-time (40 hours including paid breaks)
Potential for permanent role and promotion to Registered Manager
Are you a calm, confident Deputy ready to take the lead during a crucial phase? We’re recruiting for a maternity cover post in a Nottingham-based therapeutic home. a 4-bed service currently supporting 1–2 children with higher needs.
About the Role:

Lead on shift and support the Registered Manager in day-to-day operations

Build strong therapeutic relationships with children with complex needs

Flex your hours to meet the home’s needs (typically 8am–8pm)

Guide the home through a transitional period, focusing on stability and quality

Manage routines, safeguarding, key working, and documentation

Help shape an emotionally safe and responsive care environment

About You:

Deputy Manager or experienced Team Leader from residential childcare

Level 3 in Residential Childcare essential; Level 5 preferred or in progress
