Dual Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Homes
Manchester (Chorlton & Withington) | Up to £90,000 per annum
£70,000 base salary + £10,000 bonus per home | 28 days holiday + BH | Flexible working + Overtime Pay
Are you an experienced Registered Manager ready to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a dedicated, dual-registered professional to oversee two Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ 2-bed EBD homes in Manchester. This is an opportunity to lead with impact—supporting children with complex needs while developing your leadership in a well-supported, high-reward environment.
About the Role:
You’ll be responsible for the overall management, development, and compliance of two fully staffed, well-established homes. Reporting to the Head of Care, you’ll be supported by at least one Deputy Manager and lead a team of passionate staff committed to delivering therapeutic, child-centred care.
Key responsibilities include:

Holding Ofsted registration and ensuring compliance with all Children’s Homes Regulations

Leading, developing, and supervising the staff team across both homes

Overseeing safeguarding, behaviour support, and quality care planning

Managing budgets, rotas, and audits

Driving outstanding outcomes for young people with complex emotional needs

Fostering a supportive, aspirational culture for both staff and residents

About You:

Minimum 3 years’ experience in residential childcare with at least 1 year as a Registered Manager

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)

Proven knowledge of Children’s Homes Regulations, Reg 44 and Reg 45 reporting

Confident, resilient leader with excellent communication and organisational skills

Full UK manual driving licence essential
