About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Registered Manager to lead a 6-bed Children's Complex Care home specialising in Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) in Bradford. This role requires a dedicated and compassionate leader who can ensure the highest standards of care and drive the home towards excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management: Oversee the daily operations of the home, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment for children with complex needs.
- Leadership: Provide strong leadership to a team of care professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, support, and collaboration.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the home meets all regulatory standards, including maintaining compliance with Ofsted regulations and striving for an 'Outstanding' rating.
- Child-Centered Care: Develop and implement individualised care plans that address the specific emotional and behavioural needs of each child, promoting their overall well-being and development.
- Safeguarding: Lead on safeguarding practices within the home, ensuring all policies and procedures are rigorously followed.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with parents, local authorities, and other key stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Strategic Development: Contribute to the strategic direction of the home, identifying areas for improvement and implementing plans to enhance service delivery.
Requirements:
- Experience: Significant experience as a Registered Manager in a Children's EBD or complex care setting, with a strong track record of managing and improving service delivery.
- Qualifications: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services or equivalent.
- Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding standards, and best practices in caring for children with EBD and complex needs.
- Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and organisational skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
