Registered Manager - LD&A Children’s Home
Location: OFSTED Good-rated home
Salary: Up to £50,000 DOE + £3,000 bonus upon registration
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop Comprehensive Care Plans: Ensure each young person has a tailored plan addressing their care, education, social, emotional, cultural, therapeutic, and health needs.
- Develop a Great Team: Work with recruitment teams to bring in the right people, complete company induction and personal development plans, and retain a strong team for consistency.
- Foster Consultation: Develop systems to consult young people about the care they receive.
- Allocate Key Workers: Assign a Key Worker to each young person to implement their care plan.
- Maintain High Standards: Establish and monitor high-quality care standards in line with the quality standards and the Home’s Statement of Purpose.
- Handle Complaints and Concerns: Address any complaints or child protection concerns.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work in partnership with parents, carers, and other professionals to promote the welfare of young people.
- Participate in Meetings: Attend and contribute to care planning and review meetings as appropriate.
- Embrace a Safe Culture: Ensure the children in your service are cared for at the best possible standard.
