About the Role:
As Registered Manager, you will oversee the opening and running of a new home supporting children and young people with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). This is a fantastic opportunity to build a team, shape the culture, and provide high-quality, therapeutic care in a brand-new setting.
Key Responsibilities:

Home Leadership & Development:
- Lead the launch of a new 5-bed EBD home, ensuring it meets Ofsted regulations and delivers outstanding care.
- Recruit, train, and manage a strong, dedicated team to create a supportive and therapeutic environment.

Care & Safeguarding:
- Ensure the safety, well-being, and personal development of young people in your care.
- Implement trauma-informed approaches and behaviour support plans.

Compliance & Quality Assurance:
- Maintain high standards in line with Ofsted and Children’s Homes Regulations.
- Regularly review and improve policies, procedures, and care strategies.

Development & Career Progression:

Requirements:
- Experience as a Deputy Manager or Senior Support Worker in an EBD residential childcare setting.
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent); Level 5 in Leadership & Management is desirable or willingness to work towards it.
- Strong leadership skills with a passion for delivering high-quality care.
- Knowledge of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding, and trauma-informed practices.
