This is an exceptional opportunity to lead a high-performing, fully staffed children’s home in Hatfield. The home is already supporting three young people and is thriving now we’re looking for a passionate Registered Manager to build on that success and continue creating a safe, therapeutic environment where children and staff can truly flourish.
About the Role:
• Provide leadership and vision to a dedicated team in a vibrant 3-bed EBD home
• Ensure the delivery of outstanding, individualized care and support
• Create a warm, inclusive, and resilient home culture
• Oversee safeguarding, care planning, regulatory compliance, and team development
• Mentor and develop staff, facilitating QCF Level 3 where needed
• Manage budgets and drive continuous improvement across the service
• Work collaboratively with a specialist clinical support team, including therapists, psychologists, and advisors

About You:
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in residential childcare at a senior level
• Level 3 or 4 in Children and Young People’s Workforce
• Level 5 Diploma (or working towards) in Leadership for Health and Social Care (Children & Young People)
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation and The Children Act 1989
• Confident in financial management and operational leadership
• Passionate about achieving the best outcomes for young people
• Full driving license and willingness to take part in on-call duties
