About the Role:
• Lead shifts and support a team of Support Workers in a residential children’s home
• Deliver high-quality, child-centred care tailored to young people with ASC and LD&A needs
• Ensure care plans and risk assessments are followed and regularly updated
• Be a role model for best practice, supporting less experienced team members
• Help organise and lead meaningful activities from crafts to cinema trips and countryside walks
• Support a safe, nurturing, “home from home” environment
• Participate in sleep-ins and flexible shift patterns

About You:
• Experience working with children or young people with ASC, learning disabilities or complex needs
• Strong communication skills and a calm, supportive approach
• Able to lead by example and take responsibility during shifts
• Willing to work flexible hours including sleep-ins and alternate weekends
• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare preferred, or willingness to work towards
