Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Children's Residential Support Worker to join a warm, family-style home supporting children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD).

About the Role:
As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you'll help create consistency, stability and positive experiences for the children while supporting the wider team in delivering high-quality, trauma-informed care.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Leading shifts and providing guidance and support to the care team
• Building positive, trusting relationships with children and young people
• Supporting daily routines including school runs, meals, activities and evening routines
• Promoting emotional wellbeing through a therapeutic, trauma-informed approach
• Encouraging positive behaviour and helping children develop confidence and independence
• Completing care records and contributing to maintaining high standards within the home
• Working closely with the Deputy and Registered Manager while developing your own leadership skills

About You:
You'll already have experience supporting children or young people in residential care and be ready to take the next step into a senior position.
You'll ideally have:
• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
• Experience working within an EBD or similar residential setting
• Confidence leading shifts and supporting colleagues
• A calm, consistent and reflective approach
• A genuine commitment to trauma-informed, child-focused care
• A full UK driving licence
• Be aged 21 or over for insurance purposes
• Flexibility to work a rota including evenings, weekends and sleep-ins
